It’s Christmas Basket time at St. Joseph!  

All food donations must be returned to the church by December 2. Proceeds from special collections on Thanksgiving and December 1 and 2 will be used to buy item shortages and grocery store certificates for perishable items like meats and fresh produce.

You can also purchase Scrip by putting it in an envelope marked “Christmas Basket Donation,” and placing it in the offertory.

Important Dates

Dec.  1&2       Second collection at all Masses

Dec.  2           Last day to bring donated food to church

Dec.  8           Count and sort donated items—8:30 a.m. 

Dec.  15        Pack the boxes—8:30 a.m. Pizza lunch provided.

Dec.  16        Boxes available for pick-up or delivery

This is a huge annual undertaking for our parish that could not be done without the efforts of everyone who contributes to this outreach ministry.  It is a wonderful way to enter into the spirit of Christmas and a blessed family and community event.
