On July 19, 2023, Very Reverend Robert Sullivan signed the contract for Phase 1 of the new Holy Family School. Fr. Sullivan, the current Vicar General of the Diocese of Birmingham, signed for Bishop Raica who was out of town.  Marty Blackwood, President of Fite Construction Corporation, signed for Fite.

Phase 1 includes 10 classrooms (4K-8), workrooms, restrooms, intervention rooms and a clinic. 

At present, we expect the construction fencing to be installed prior to the start of school on August 2. Immediately after that, work will begin to clear the trees that divide the Beasley and Bell Avenue properties.
